I Practice My Religion Every Single Day

Daily writing prompt
Do you practice religion?

Faith without works is dead. There are a group of people who say they are people of faith, but they have aligned themselves with a human-being who is full of hate, avarice, self-love, malice and vengefulness. That is not my religion. I believe in love and hope, and I believe we are all precious. These folks are working to make our religion theirs…my religion might be called by the same name, but we are not of the same spirit. I practice religion every single day and I don’t mind others practicing theirs every single day as long as they are not damning mine. I’m looking for ways to make the lives of those who are suffering better. I’m looking for ways to make everyone in my community thrive. I know everyone has had a different experience and that we are not all the same, and I believe everyone should have a fair chance at the American dream or at having a good life wherever they are. Yea, I think I practice my religion every single day.
