I personally would prefer the Biden versus Haley match-up.  Both people care about the United States and its people.  As long as former President Trump is in the race, we risk insane policies, instability, authoritarianism, vitriol, vendettas and imminent danger if we find ourselves in a crisis of any type that puts the middle class or poor in harm’s way.  You see, Trump surrounds himself with loyal useful idiots rather than a capable team.  He simply does not hold the best interest of most Americans or our allies…his personal needs override the needs of the country.

Biden’s age is real.  Haley’s failure to realize the wealth of experience he brings to the table and the reality that all 80-year-olds are not equal is perhaps indicative of her youth.  I am enjoying watching Haley come into her own, finally taking the gloves off against a cowardly bully.  She is going toe-to-toe with Trump and it’s delightful to watch.  There is finally a GOP primary.

In the last few days Trump has treated Haley just like he has treated E. Jean Carrol.  Keeping it simple…he has no respect for women…especially women with a voice.  He will likely select a female for his Vice President, but she will simply be a female.   

Yes, Nikki may prove to be a more formidable opponent in the general campaign, but I believe Biden can hold his own against her.  Little changes when the fight becomes about policy and the America we want to be.  I welcome the match-up because I believe there is a reason the Democrats have a platform and the Republicans do not.  One party knows who we are as Americans, and the other is more focused on us all of us being who they are.

We should have a choice between two decent people who believe in democracy and not a self-obsessed tyrant who loves himself more than our country.
