My life is just chugging along. I retired a couple of years ago and I’ve been checking off my bucket list. This blog was one of them…well kind of. I really wanted to do a podcast cast with my sisters and my daughter, but everyone’s life is so just so busy. So, I decided, rather than wait until they were no longer busy, I would start blogging. Here I am. I joined a local election campaign team…we won! I visit my elderly relatives far more often than when I had a 9-5. I’ve traveled to Washington DC, Atlantic City, Orlando, and Atlanta to meet up at events with old friends. I’m exercising and going to church more. I took off from blogging for the election and rolled into the holidays. This blog is probably the biggest change to what I pictured a year ago. I am hoping if asked this question next year, I will have honed my writing style, figured out how to get more interaction, and likes. My family is good. I’m warm, fed, and loved. Our democracy still stands…and we’re still fighting to keep it that way. Trump is almost behind bars, or at the very least his dirty deeds are in print in legal documents…this is a political blog. In a nutshell, life is good.
