I would like to know what in the thought processes of Trump supporters only
allows them to believe his side of the story, not matter what the video, audio,
witnesses, or courts conclude.

I would like to know more about how they process the flipping of
stances…for heaven’s sake, the man is going to speak to union strikers and
his history is riddled with not paying people for the work they do for him.
Look at his attorneys…wouldn’t pay Cohen, wouldn’t pay Guiliani, and the
history is so bad that his new attorneys required payment of fees upfront.

I would like to know how they process his sitting on the information
regarding the dangers of COVID for months while people were treating it like a
cold…and spreading it.

I would like to know how they process Trump clearly bragging about grabbing
the private parts of women but cannot fathom that E. Jean Carroll was attacked
and raped although a judge has said this is exactly what the civil suit found
he did.

I would like to know how they process his contention that he lost the
election as being the truth, although every court, his White House attorneys,
legal experts, election officials, and the evidence show the contrary.

I would like to know how they process his current stance on abortion when he
(with the help of McConnell) doggedly put into place the Supreme Court justice
he knew would overturn Roe…in the most abrupt, disruptive, and dangerous
manner possible…immediately and without any guidance other than it’s up to
the states!

I would like to know how they process the closeness of this draft dodger to
authoritarian figures all over the world…and, how there are no signs of those
crippling bone spurs as he galivants on golf courses all over the world.

I would like to know how they process the attack on basic foundations of our
democracy …the rule of law, freedom of press, justice system, our judges,
free exercise of religion, peaceful protest, even our vote while insisting his
goal is “Making America Great.”

And, as we all know this list is far from exhaustive.

It’s easy to blame it on blinding hatred, greed, cultism, racism,
misogynism, ignorance, etc. That said, it’s just as easy to blame it on their
morality…just not caring about the lies, character, decency, or the damage to
our democracy as long as they get what they want.
