As divided as we are in this country, the majority of Americans are not behind the former President. Now, they may be a little spiteful when pollsters call…but when the rubber hits the road, most Americans are not going to cast their precious vote for Donald J. Trump. If a poll says something different, it just isn’t true…its wrong.

Now sure, there are some diehard folks who will go polls and cast their pearls for swine, but that is not the majority of Americans. Most Americans know Trump does not belong in the White House. They know he is corrupt through and through. They don’t want their children and grandchildren to watch our country go through the mess he is promising. They have watched his social media tantrums. I believe even Trump will have a rude awakening in the primaries…as bad as most of his opposition is, most are a better choice than Trump.

People know Trump committed serious crimes…whether or not they can find a jury that will convict him, people know Trump is guilty of most of these charges. They know he is not fit to be President.

Of course, there are some people having memory issues (perhaps due to long-term Covid because they didn’t get vaccinated), but by the time elections roll around, they will have been reminded of the presidency Trump actually had. They will be reminded that he did not beat President Obama, and that Hillary beat him in the popular vote. They will be reminded that he did not inherit a failing economy.

They will also be reminded that he stayed in bed with our foreign enemies and alienated all of our allies. They will remember the promises he made and did not keep…remember, the infrastructure promises and the jobs. They will remember the mishandling of a pandemic…the cover-up, the lies, the escalation, and the death. They will remember the profit he and his family made off of his Presidency. They will remember how the rich got wealthier, and the rest of us got the expiring payroll cut. They will be reminded of the very things Nikki Haley brought up in the first debate…if she’s reminding folks, imagine what the Democrats and the “Ghost-funded Third Party” are going to do. They will remember the disdain he has for the government he wants to lead and the Constitution he wants to defend. Put simply, Americans are not stupid enough to put Trump back into office again.

They can call Biden old, Brandon, and Haley can even buy the casket, but if the choice is between Trump and Biden…it will clearly be Biden. No one knows the future, so I cannot say for sure better choices won’t emerge out of the primaries. I can say for sure is Donald Trump will not be elected President whether or not he is convicted of crimes.

You see, at the end of the day Americans love our democracy and we love our country. By far, the majority of Americans know Donald J. Trump doesn’t love either.
